Udhagamandalam. Situated at a distance of 105
km from Coimbatore, this hill station is 2280meters
above the sea level.

Ooty Botanical Gardens
The most popular attraction of the city-Ooty Botanical
Gardens are sprawled over 50-acres of land. Ooty
Botanical Gardents located on the low-lying slopes
of Doddabetta Peak-the highest point in Ooty,
these gardens were built by Marquis of Tweeddale,
in 1848. You can find thousand different species
of plants in these gardens including thirty types
of eucalyptus. A fossilized tree trunk, which
is said to be 20 million years old, is also present
in these gardens.

St
Stephens Church in Ooty
One of the oldest church based in the hilly areas
of Nilgiris, on the Club Road is St Stephens Church
in Ooty which was built in 1829. Calm environs
of the St.Stephens Church in Ooty make them perfect
place for worshiping in peace. The beam of the
church was taken from the palace of Tipu Sultan.
Mini Garden
Situated on the way to the boathouse, the Mini
Garden is a perfect amusement park for children.

relaxing and enjoying at the same time.
Rose Garden
Outspread across 10 acres of land area, the Rose
Garden is located at a distance of 3 to 4-km from
Charring Cross. Beautified with over 2000 variety
of roses, this place forms a perfect hang out
zone, for children and adults alike.
Government Museum
Widely popular amidst the locales as well people
from all over India for the tribal objects, district's
ecological details and representative sculptural
arts and crafts of Tamil Nadu, kept therein. Built
in the year 1989, basically with the motive to
make the native as well as the visiting population
aware and educated.
Deer Park
Located at a distance of 1-km from the Lake, this
park is truly worth visiting, due to the unique
charm it is embraced with.
Doddabetta
Doddabetta is widely famous and the highest peak
(2623 meters) in the Nilgiris. Ideally located
at a distance of 10-kms from Ooty, this beautiful
place is situated between the junction of the
Western and Eastern Ghats. You can get envision
the beautiful view of Nilgiri hill ranges from
this peak, which is surrounded by dense Sholas.
