These antioxidants help protect skin cells from damage by free radicals which are especially common in the skin due to environmental exposure. Ensure that your fruits and vegetables have all their antioxidants intact, make sure they are fresh and uncooked (since heat inactivates most antioxidants.

A well-moisturized skin is less prone to developing of wrinkles. Drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day ensures proper hydration of the body and helps reduce skin dryness. Drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day is recommended. Maintaining a calorie conscious diet is also recommended for beautiful skin. Calorie conscious diet is not only good for the skin but for the overall health. There is a great degree of skin sagging after weight loss. So it better to control weight gain than going for a weight loss later.

The way that the food is cooked also is of great importance. The more the food is heated up. or high temperature is put on, the more chances of the depletion of nutrients. One can’t stop cooking altogether, but it is desirable that the cooking time is low and also that there is not too much usage of oil or fat.
